Organically grown and expertly crafted by a fourth generation family farm in the richly fertile mountains of Uji, Japan. Traditionally stone milled from tender first spring tea leaves of a single cultivar tea variety, with characteristics born from the region's renowned terroir. Smooth, balanced and rich in flavour with a vibrant colour and velvety texture. Always freshly ground to order in small batches direct from our master tea farmers to ensure freshness, flavour and supreme farm to cup quality.

30g foil bag in glass jar and as refill. Approximately 20 serves.
PREPARATION
Sift 1-2 scoops [1/2 tsp] into a tea bowl. Add a splash of hot water at 80°C* and swirl into a liquid paste with whisk. Pour in 100ml of hot water, then whisk rapidly until frothy. Top up with more water to balance taste accordingly. Keep airtight in a cool dry environment after use to preserve quality.
*Due to the delicate nature of matcha, it is best brewed with water no hotter than 80°C. A temperature controlled kettle is recommended or cool water after boiling.
After emptying sachet into glass jar, sift 1-2 scoops [1/2 tsp] into a tea bowl.
Add a splash of hot water at 80 degrees celcius.
Swirl into a liquid paste with whisk.
Pour in 100ml of hot water, then whisk rapidly until frothy.
Top up with more water to balance taste accordingly.
