The Waka Chawan [tea bowl] is a little poem in vessel form. Handcrafted from Toki in Gifu, Japan. The distinct kohiki pottery style is characterised by a 'windswept' white slip glaze on terracotta earthenware, with organic grooves ideal for nursing a warm bowl of matcha or loose leaf green tea.

Prior to first use, soak under warm water to prevent tea stain or pigmentation of pottery. Not suitable for dishwasher or microwave. Hand rinse after use under warm water (no soap required) and dry thoroughly before storing.
